We are a well-established and successful psychological therapy service based in Scotland, offering high quality interventions and treatment packages that support individuals and organisations. All Sessions are carried out online. 
Our highly qualified team of clinicians have significant experience of providing support that enables clients to achieve and maintain mental wellbeing through personalised and focused therapies.

Here at Compass Therapy, we will support you as you develop personal insight, to guide you to notice how past experiences can impact the present, and how new patterns of thought and behaviour can lead towards positive change and a more fulfilling life.

Every person is unique and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.  We are qualified and experienced the following interventions:

  • Acceptance and commitment therapy 

  • Cognitive-behavioural therapy 

  • Mindfulness [MBSR/MBCT]​​

  • Schema focused therapy 

  • Interpersonal therapy

  • Compassion focussed herapy

We are accredited by the BABCP and adhere to their professional guidelines.

We accept self referrals and referrals from private medical insurance.

Towards change

Compass Therapy provides effective and results driven therapeutic groups  and workshops including, mindfulness, resilience, stress awareness programs, menopause workshop and Helen is a facilitator of the Prosocial model.

I was first referred to Helen via a friend in 2017 for CB Therapy to support me with Anxiety at work. Our first encounter was extremely positive,  she responded quickly to my call and was able to set up our first meeting the very next week (significantly quicker than going via the NHS). Upon meeting Helen, I was impressed by her professionalism while also being friendly and personal and ensuring that I was comfortable in the environment during the session. She is very attentive, she takes lots of notes when you’re talking and will use these throughout the session to help guide the conversation and keep it relevant. What’s more – she tries not to apply judgement, but instead will ask good questions to help you think through for yourself which I found particularly helpful. I subsequently went on to have over 10 sessions and found them beneficial in terms of talking out my thoughts and learning strategies to help me self-serve in future anxious situations – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Helen for anyone looking for CBT
